For the past 3 summers, archaeologist and Stanford professor Dr Patrick Hunt has been conducting archaeological research atop the Grand St Bernard Pass on the Swiss and Italian alps.

On this 8200 ft pass, are the ruins of the temple of Jupiter, built between 12-72 BCE, the remains of a Roman road, mansiones and a Roman watch tower.

Hippo was among the students on the expedition during the summer of 1996.
